Project Overview
This stunning period property in Heswall deserved a floor to match its character and charm — and our client knew that parquet was the answer. We were asked to supply and install a classic herringbone parquet floor that would elevate the home while keeping the look fresh and modern.
Our Process
We began with a full site consultation, discussing layout, tones, and finish options. The client opted for a light, natural look to complement the crisp white panelling and traditional fireplace.
Installation: Solid oak parquet blocks, laid in a classic herringbone pattern with a border detail for definition.
Subfloor Prep: Full check and levelling before adhesive bonding.
Finishing Touches: Sanded smooth and sealed with Nordic white lacquer — a subtle tint to keep the timber from going too yellow, while enhancing the grain.
The Result
The final look speaks for itself — bright, clean, and timeless. The natural oak parquet adds warmth and texture, and the modern finish keeps it light and breathable.
From hallway to sitting room, the flow between spaces feels seamless, and the craftsmanship speaks in every detail — from the crisp herringbone layout to the precise cuts around radiators and hearths.

Why It Works
Light Finish – keeps the room feeling open and airy
Classic Layout – suits both period and contemporary design
Premium Materials – built to last for decades with proper care
