Q: How soon can I walk on the floor after it's finished? A: Floors can usually be walked on after 2 hours with socks, but we recommend waiting 24 hours before moving furniture back in (with care). Avoid rugs and heavy items for 7 days while the finish fully cures.

Q: How much dust will there be during sanding? A: We use modern, professional-grade dust extraction equipment to keep dust levels to a minimum. Whilst no sanding process is completely dust-free, our setup significantly reduces airborne dust. We recommend removing any valuables or sensitive electronics from the area just in case.

Q: Will there be any smell from the finish or stain? A: Most of the modern finishes we use, including water-based lacquers, are low in odour and safe to homes. Any slight smell typically disappears within a few hours. If stain is used, there may be a stronger scent during application, but it fades quickly with ventillation.

Q: How long before furniture and rugs can go back? A: You can usually move furniture back the next day, taking care not to drag items. Rugs should be kept off the floor for at least 7 days to allow the finish to fully cure and avoid trapping moisture or causing marks.

Q: Do you offer staining or custom colour finishes? A: Yes - we offer a range of stains and finishes to suit your taste. We'll carry out test patches so you can see how different colours look on your floor before making a final decision.
